I'm still working on my 15mm infinity project. First up is my Hellcat for Infinity with a jetpack designed for me by Keith from Armies Army. I had it 3d printed from shapeways. I like the size, but it's a big fragile. I might need to bulk it up before I get it cast.
And here are some of my finished miniatures, bases were made for me by Allen from Gamecraft Miniatures. A SPKTR
And a wildcat:
What do you guys think? Thanks! |

I think they look pretty cool. I want to try this myself at some point. I had a 300 pt game of Infinity the other day. It would be nice to put a few more models on a bigger table and have multiple objectives and in 15mm it might be more reasonable. |

Ill work on as bulkier one with longer central section. I'll try fix the detail to, probably to fine |

15mm does sound really fun |

I like them. Is Infinity usually 28? |

I like Spektr. Hellcat wings are to massive ! You make me want to return to mine Infinity 15, but I am too much dug in WWII lately.. |

Thanks guys! Since my bases are ~%80 that of regular infinity, all my ranges and templates are reduced by that amount. I printed out the templates and reduced them 80%, and the ranges each inch equals 2 CM. Ill work on as bulkier one with longer central section. I'll try fix the detail to, probably to fine The only thing that was an issue is where the wing attaches to the central spine. I really like them though, so let me see if they cast up first. I think in metal it wouldn't be as big of an issue. Is Infinity usually 28? Yep! Hellcat wings are to massive ! Here is the "official" figure:
I think the jet pack Keith made is perfect. Also, if it can be cast in metal it will be reduced about 10% too. |

I know, i tried to glue thos bastards in 28 mm :P Lower parts are ok, but upper fin on my models are much difrent than on this hacker. |

There were two versions of the Hellcats. The one you see pictured is the latest model. The previous ones were not as armoured looking. I have the earlier ones and the fins are smaller than the newer ones I think, although I don't have mine at hand to check. |

Remember, while the same idea, my jetpack was intended to be a unique design. |

I like it
..the ideas behind infinity are cool, but I dont think squaud on squad plays to the strengths of this scale, so infinity would have to be changed slightly to allow for more practical largers scale combat. |

If your looking for a way to print and cast look at these folks. b9creator.com/support They can make a wax master that can then be cast as lost wax. As they make rings and settings for gems, 15mm should not be that hard. The printer runs about 3500 btw. Uses DLP projector and resin. Lee |

@LFSeeny: Cool! Might need to look at that instead of a Form1, has a much finer detail resolution (0.05mm versus 0.3mm)
Still has a tiny print area, though. I'd be all over a line of 15mm "close enough for government work" not-Infinity minis, since it seems that CB is maxed out dealing with 28mm Infinity

@Victor Kravenhoff I am thinking around the lines of Chain of Stars – Chain of Command in spaceee! But Infinity will be more managable in 15 mm than in 28 IMHO because of terrain that is easily storegable. |

I really like infinity and the models (We play pretty irregularly – 1-2 times a month), but the main drawback is that I've invested heavily into terrain making for 6mm, 10mm, and 15mm and really do not want to build a new scale. This has severely limited our walk by interest as our terrain looks OK, but not great. I was initially going to try it in 15mm too, but the local scene is already limited so an odd scale with no support is very problematic. The appeal of building a city in 15mm is great though, but I'll probably use 5150 from THW instead, mainly because it uses generic figures easier. i really admire your attempt and would love to see you successful
do you have a larger supporting group that is going to go the 15mm route too? Wouldn't it be nice if Corbus Bell shifted to 15mm
.at least as an alternative
. At least we could continue the dream. Skipper |
