Thanks for the link willow, there is some grand inspiration and ideas. I'm slowly coming to the point where I will leave the basic skin colour as is with a touch of higlighting. From photographic samples I have been looking at ie re-enactors, descendants etc it appears that for those engaged in outdoor activities, it should be what we call olive or southern Mediterranean skin tones. I had a quick skim through some stills from Last of the Mohicans as well and a lot of the photo's of American Native actors confirms this, to my mind anyway. I will need to up my beading and decoration though. Cheers Bill, what are you playing? regards

Nope French and Indians mostly, Drew is going to paint some Brits if he gets time. I think we're all in the same boat re time really. M&T too  Yes I got the Aztec reference, I still think it is all a commie plot to sabotage my painting.  regards

Something like this for the flesh willow, not the neatest job but it is a pain trying to hide the gold flake.
