Looking good, Dave. Maybe he's related to the Aztecs!

I've got some French on the go at the moment.

Bill.

Cardinal Hawkwood22 Feb 2014 5:49 a.m. PST

they all related to the Aztecs

Thanks for the link willow, there is some grand inspiration and ideas. I'm slowly coming to the point where I will leave the basic skin colour as is with a touch of higlighting.

From photographic samples I have been looking at ie re-enactors, descendants etc it appears that for those engaged in outdoor activities, it should be what we call olive or southern Mediterranean skin tones. I had a quick skim through some stills from Last of the Mohicans as well and a lot of the photo's of American Native actors confirms this, to my mind anyway. I will need to up my beading and decoration though.

Cheers Bill, what are you playing?

Cardinal, the Aztec reference was to the gold wash the figure got!

Dave, l'm getting ready for M&T. For some reason I thought you were doing British. But keen for a game down the track.

Cardinal Hawkwood23 Feb 2014 12:59 a.m. PST

they are still all related to the Aztecs

Nope French and Indians mostly, Drew is going to paint some Brits if he gets time. I think we're all in the same boat re time really. M&T too thumbs up

Yes I got the Aztec reference, I still think it is all a commie plot to sabotage my painting. frown

Something like this for the flesh willow, not the neatest job but it is a pain trying to hide the gold flake.
