Hi guys,

just joined as this seems to be the place where people know everything about minis.

I'm about to start a Weird Wars – Tour of Darkness rpg with my gaming group and I'm looking for some viet cong or nva zombies – have anyone ever come across this?

cheers,
Kaspar

You wouldn't know man, you weren't there……

John Jenkins Designs used to make some 28mm zombie Chinese in Mao caps. Maybe they would make a start point. I don't see them listed on his website but maybe he still has the masters. Worth enquring.

hi ,
citadel did a group of three very limited edition vietnam chaos zombies ,USA types though, two in uniform, one unarmed, one with M16 , the other was more fantasy and named chaos agent, pricy to get these if indeed you can

Not that hard to make your own. The West Wind Vietnam civilian pack would be a good starting point. You can also find some Zombie heads for swapping. I did that with some U.S. figures (weapon crews and the like with some trimming).

Vividchris is right, the old Citadel US Vietnam zombies are not easy to find on Ebay, and expensive when you do. They do look good, though:

Citadel also did a "Rambones" skeletal zombie that pops up from time to time:

Easier to find, and much cheaper, are Black Hat's Skeletal Marines: link

The Black Hat weapons aren't M-16s, but they're close enough for the tabletop, and the rest of the equipment works for '60s US troops.

(I know you asked for VC and NVA zombies, but eventually some of the US troops are going to be bitten . . .)

Like most things "zombies" for me, it falls into just plain "zany", weird, freaky, etc. catagory … but do what works for you … evil grin Novel thought … maybe just play SEATO vs. VC/NVA … lots of killing and slaughter possiblities there. It appears the NVA had their own type "zombies", instead of the dead coming back "zombie" just send more and more living in the breach … The tatoo found on some KIA NVA said "Born in the North to die in the South" … many knew they'd probably die regardless …
