The Company offers a low cost solution to upgrade basic variant of BMP-2 with new armour. I assume the windows on the side are just for the exhibition model. What makes me wonder is that there are no vision ports (or hatches) for the driver! Not even cameras. |

Looking at the windows, it almost looks like we are looking at the read of the vehicle. Some retro-future bus. With a gun. |

I saw the windows on the side of that thing and thought, "Hey, looks like someone is doing a re-boot of the movie Stripes." |

Yes
I'm pretty sure windows on the side are just for the exhibition model. They better hurry up and make bunches of them so the Russian could sell them to Syria
and their other clients

There seems to be a trend in making remote stations more turret-like (presumably for improved protection and internal access to the ammo feed & other working parts.) |

Phil Gray | 18 Feb 2014 12:38 p.m. PST |
Does that not pose a shot trap, deflecting rounds off the unmanned weapon station and into the roof of the (presumably manned) hull? |
