"During World War I, a specialized Russian battalion comprised of ethnic Czechs and Czech and Slovak prisoners of war--the Legion--became a pawn in an international game of power and deceit. The Legion's detour through Siberia became the greatest human interest story of the war, chronicled weekly in the New York Times and New York Herald. More than half of the Legion's troops lost their lives as the evacuation of Czech and Slovak POWs through Vladivostok precipitated the murder of the Russian royal family and forced the Legion to act as protectors of the Russian treasury and the Trans-Siberian Railway while the White and Red armies battled."

TMP link Plastered on the front page of TMP 3 days ago – come on Armand, this is the sort of thing that rightfully causes you a lot of hassle! |

Sigh. How many editors are there to delete stuff like this thats already been well covered in the news. |

One of the strangest things I've ever seen on any forum. I've no idea why it's allowed to continue. A way to eliminate threads begun by stifled persons (thus preventing them from clogging up the home page) would be so helpful. |

I would much rather have duplicate entries in the threads than miss something, or myself missing one somewhere along the line. I saw this originally and I was very interested in it. But I have often missed news items before they get off the track. It's not a terribly bad thing to have duplicate reporting once in a while. Keep up the good work tango, but maybe a few less reports about what China is doing. Keep the items restricted to actual miniatures which is what this whole page is about. Thanks. |

I would much rather have duplicate entries in the threads than miss something, I agree 100% Bob. As for the nay-sayers
Get a life. |

I agree with the OFM. Tango, please start reposting all news items, preferably twice (once while they are still on the front page, and once again about three days later), to ensure no one ever misses a news item here on Tango's Miniatures Page. |

This is the only posting of this on the 2 boards Tango chose. I don't use the front page so I would miss this otherwise. How do those who haven't the time to see a heading twice and ignore the 2nd, have time to post a complaint? Do you complain every time something is cross-posted? Let he who is without stifle shoot the first flame. Druzhina Illustrations of Costume & Soldiers |
