Thanks, kind of like a backwards gama-goat, but with a gun, they might have done better if it had a rigid frame and a different suspension system and some speed those things were slow, That thing just looks mean I can see a whole family of those, I would model one with a solid body myself |

Mr. Harold, imagine a heavy variant with three segments of four wheels each with the back segment carrying cargo, passengers, a c-cubed module, a guided missile launching system ala the TOW, a AAA air defense system, etc
Just saying'

Oh that's just cruel, willing to bet they are the wrong size! IIRC those toy 4x4 variants will work for 28mm. I personally would like to see someone make a 15mm modular AFV family based off of the Twister

Ok Mr Harold, I had to weigh in on this!!! Love your stuff btw. I envision the Hell Divers as "in and out" guys (thats just my interpretation) I don't think heavier vehicles would fit them (again, just my 2 cents) I love the bike idea, the vtols and power armor is sexy, and the buggy is nice too. getting too far past that to me would be passing into the regular army realm. My first thought upon reading the title of this thread, was the Warthog from HALO, the idea of a buggy type ATV with a variable gun on the back seems very hell diver to me. You could just sell the body and the guns seperate, so people get what they want. A large MG type weapon, a rocket launcher weapon, and maybe even a gauss rifle? That'd be SLICK. In case you've never played HALO, this is the Warthog. link I think youre current buggy look would be perfect, just design the guns seperate with a universal "plug" so you can just stick on whatever you want for your needs. That also lets people leave it unarmed if they want it for that! |

That being said, if/when you relase a line of "joe schmoes" it would behoove you to release a tank and ifv of course ;] and let's not forget, although they are specialists, those troops (even today) are often deployed as regulars when the situation calls for it. Think airborne in WW2, Rangers and Delta in somalia and desert storm, even today rangers and delta often work with marines and army on the ground in the same area. So seeing the Hell Divers ride around in an AFV isnt impossible, it just wouldnt be practical for their specialist missions. If they were being used in a scenario that involved coordination with regular joe, i bet my arse theyd be on the tanks and afvs too ;] again, just my .02 USD |
