After slogging through a number of T64s of late, I needed to start balancing out my 3mm forces and prepped some British armor I just recently ordered. 20140215-200752.jpg 640×480 pixels

Yay, proper tanks. My Chieftans are based in threes, but they are 2mm, not 3mm. |

The reason I went for two per base were based on a couple of factors. The first was the fact that I like operational vs tactical, so I was not trying to get them to look the part of platoons or companies. The second was rather cosmetic, I wanted to mount them on round bases which are poker chips
I see your T64 and raise you a Chieftain
Three tanks would have looked like the tank density in Flames of War. I don't really have a gaming group so I am building projects that I can enjoy by myself or with friends that may enjoy the beer drinking portion of gaming than the game itself. I want to represent many of the different forces so I had to pick a scale that would allow me the flexibility. |
