This has probably been mentioned before but I thought other might find it useful: I was, a while ago, looking for a copy of "Narrative of the campaigns of the Loyal Lusitanian Legion" and found it for free here: link Along with a whole bunch of other books written by folk what were there at the time. The english titles stand out, there may be more in portuguese but I cant read portuguese
pretty easy site to navigate (even without knowing the language!), heres a few that jumped out at me: purl.pt/17055 Narrative of the campaigns of the Loyal Lusitanian Legion
purl.pt/17223 narrative of the penninsular war, 1808-1813 purl.pt/17075 narrative of the penninsular war purl.pt/24027 narrative of the campaign of the British army in spain
purl.pt/17210 a narrative of the campaign which preceded the convention of Cintra purl.pt/17041 a narrative of the principle of the events of the campaigns of 1809, 1810, 1811. Theres thousands of books there, I aint trawled through them all..
