Does anyone know how these two sets of Modern Brits stack up against each other? Photos in particular would be great.

Brooks minis are advertised as "True" 28mm, whatever that is. Which Airfix are you referring to?

I would assume he means the 1/48th "Operation Herrick" range figures.

they are completely different sizes, brooks figs are 28mm high and 1/48 is normally about 32-35mm high so i doubt they will look ok together.

I do not have any Brooks but here are Empress mixed with Airfix. They actually mix quite well.
Front row L to R are Empress, Airfix, Airfix, Airfix, Empress, Empress. Second row middle is Airfix, rest are Empress. The remaining Airfix were converted as vehicle crew (at the back). I would recommend Empress figures and Airfix vehicles. Be warned, these Airfix kits are for model makers and have a lot of parts.

I do mean the 1/48ths. Thanks Mick, I had seen this picture before – it inspired me to get a few cheap kits when Modelzone died – but I am planning an unrelated order at Old Glory, and I thought I might just bulk it out with a few Brooks bits for mortarmen &c.

I would add that the now OG ex Brooks minis I got did have some problems with pitting and bubbles round the necks, and did seem rather poor casts, compared to the Empress ones ive got.

But are they the same size? In that case, if Airfix fits Empress, and Brooks fits Empress, presumably Airfix fits Brooks.
