Very nice! That's a useful set.

Your idea to raise the height of the tower seems the way to go--though could you just add base to the tower and attach the wheels to the new base, rather than making new wheels, etc.?

I think I'll have to do both

Pretty nice. That castle is doomed.

Wow they look great from Zvezda….I never knew they could do that.

I think the 1/72nd fits in very well with 28mm.

Very nice paint work, and assemblage! Looks fantastic!… The boys in the castle are doomed.

bgbboogie, there is a lot of variation in height, for 1/72 figures. The best thing, if interested, is to look stuff up on Plastic Soldier Review's web site. They give great reviews, including measured sizes of figures, and equipment, such as these. I have searched through their listings, quite a few times, in search of figures to use with my fantasy games. That way I know what I am getting (for size, quality, and quantity), before the package arrives. Cheers!

@Scot--is that a Hudson & Allen castle?

Henry Martini05 Mar 2014 6:50 a.m. PST

While the siege tower looks OK with 28mm figures, the other Zvezda pieces look too small; hardly surprising, I suppose, given their scale.

Yes. Hudson and Allen Castle. Mine recently achieved drinking age. :)
