The more I look at this piece, the more I like it— a moment of peace, contemplation and devotion in the midst of a violent time. One feels that this crusader, at least, isn't there for glory or riches, but for faith— and would prefer to embrace peace than war. Perhaps that's too much the myth of the Crusades rather than the reality, but it's a timeless myth, and the diorama captures it— the soldier worshiping the Prince of Peace.
This could be sold as a work of inspirational art.

@ Howard…you summed up what I was trying to achieve..not just faith for Show but as faith ist self, whatever the code followed.
