Does any one know of a company that produces the Polish Krakus Cavalry in either 6mm or 10mm scale? I thank you in advance for your help. |

green beanie, If you don't mind – I'd also love to piggyback on this thread and say, "or what figures could be used as substitutes in 15mm?" Cheers, The Bandit |

In 6mm you could use Baccus Austrian Uhlans, just rough them up a bit with some filing to try and change the hat and coat. The paint job should finish it reasonably well. In 15 mm there is a line called fighting 15 that has some real nice looking figures. |

Shame on you Bandit for piggybacking on another guy's thread. But since you have, Minifigs make them in 15mm: link

Oddzial Osmy – I believe the moulds are now owned by Ian Marsh of Fighting 15a, who remodelled the horses a bit, see here for the page: link I had some of the original Oddzial figures (now passed onto Paul Alba) and they were nice but small (then again the original Krakus cavalry were small too). Closer to 15mm than the usual ABs that Ian sells but would sit perfectly happily on the same table. |

No one currently produces them in 10mm. Magister does some nice Polish figures but not the Karkus. |

Oddzial Osmy – I believe the moulds are now owned by Ian Marsh of Fighting 15a, who remodelled the horses a bit Slightly more complex: I own the masters as the original moulds are shot (a curse of the ZnAl metal that OO used). I am very, very slowly doing new moulds as I get demand for the figures (and because I am rushed off my feet with AB and Eureka). The Krakus and Cossack horses didn't need work done to them as they were already one-piece castings, although I did slightly re-profile a horse buttock. And no, they're not 10mm. :-) |

I seem to recall the horses that came with mine were in two parts but it was probably just the SuperGlue fumes that makes me think that
