Any news on the above mentioned range?..i read the posting, some years ago, concerning the sad en of this nice firm of which, many yaers ago, i had the pleasure to buy a few minis. But i was wondering if somebody else acquired the moulds…Those minis where the only one (with the exception of some few Falcon miniatures and another firm called maybe TNK) that represented this French Colonial sideshow…Indochine 19 C….The Pavillons Noirs where very intersting and totally compatible with recent ranges of French regulars..Artizan, Askaris ecc…
any good news for this exotic period?

Unless there was a second range, the Vietnam range that I recall from the London Warroom, was for the 1960s – 70s US involvement period. It was done in true 25mm.

There was an earlier range for the 19th Century. Not much help on where to find them.

The folks at Parroom Station may be able to point you in the right direction:

I believe RLBPS purchased the range, which is listed on his web page as jungle rot

Miniatureships, you are correct in that RLBPS has the 20th century figues for Vietnam but he is asking about 19th century ones of which I was not aware of.

Thanks for those suggestions..i'll begin again my long time hunting for Indochinois/Vietnameese to field Vs my Foreign Legion.
nnascati and Disco joe…i can assure you that also another 28mm range called, maybe, "Indochine 18-19 c." was in production..i have, in front of me, a drummer and a standard bearer in conical hats, probably representing Vietnameese/Annamites regulars…i also remenber in their list a Tirailleur Annamite in French Service in Kéo traditional dress and French pouches/rifle and some so called Pavillons Noirs Chineese pirates…

just one last question
any chance to have a mail contact for Paroom station miniatures..in their site there is no adress
thanks

There was definitely a range of 19th Century Indochina figures, I have a few of the Annamite Tirailleurs. The range included various 'Linh' Vietnamese infantry with different weapons and some Black Flags.

The question about what happened to the range has came up a couple of times over the years (always with the confusion between it and the 1960s range) but it seems the range was never sold, and has never reappeared.
