Howdy, Two battles on Turn 8 – both with cavalry acting to delay advances/retreats.

Interesting. Looks like the Cav on both sides has been thrown out front. It may get slapped around by being so exposed? Any more Russian corps coming on the map? Thanks, John |

Howdy, Actually, the German Cav is getting run over by Russian Corps retreating from Konigsberg. The Russian Cav, which was a flank guard for the advance is now in rearguard mode. Right now the campaign is shaping to be a draw. Casualties running 1.3:1, the Germans need 1.5 for that victory condition. It's hard say, as there are four campaign turns remaining. Yes, the Russians are receiving reinforcements – survivors from 2nd Army. Ponder on, JAS |
