Just a quick experiment with depicting hidden forces on a battlefield using an Ipad with a camera, and a photo editor. Works like a charm!!!

I play a lot of Fireball Forward which uses hidden movement. This might be a good idea (normally I use two copies of the printed map and look back and forth between them and the table – sometimes there is a slight discrepancy between them).

Only problem is that computer hardware goes kaput at the most annoying times…

If you had only one or two hidden units, couldnt you just take a photo of the spot where they're located,as proof that that's their set up point?

Interesting idea!

You might even consider taking three photos (for the example you did) and then mark one with the sniper, one with the ambush, and one with the mines, so that you can reveal them individually:)

LordAshram.. I thought about that right after I posted it. Great minds think alike! I'll add that to the post later.

Skinkmaster: you sure could, I was going for speed here, having everyone turn their backs as you have the defender place the hidden units, take pictures, place the next hidden units, take their pictures, etcetera, just seems like it might have some people drumming their fingers impatiently. It certainly would work, though-- I was just sharing an idea, I'm still trying this out.
