Hiho everybody, I just finished a detailed tutorial for making pressure molds on my blog. The idea was to have a steady supply for wall segments for my dungeon crawl project, but also to make some cobblestone bases etc. I understand a lot of people use greenstuff for this, but given greenstuff is quite expensive I thought it might be worth a try to use Fimo Soft or Sculpey Original. Here is the result of my casting adventure:
The tutorial can be found following this link: daggerandbrush.wordpress.com/2014/02/10/under-pressure-original-sculpey-and-fimo-soft-press-molds-for-walls-and-bases-tutorial Woul be cool to hear of your experiences with this technique and get some constructive criticism regarding the tut. |
