Hi all,

We ran a First Battle of Freeman's Farm scenario at the Devon Wargames Group yesterday.

picture

It turned out to be a Pyrrhic victory for the British with Burgoyne mortally wounded and heavy casualties all round.
If you would like to know more about the game then just follow the link to the Devon Wargames Group Blog for an AAR and to JJ's if you would like to read more about using C&G together with downloads of the files used in yesterdays game

Nice – but you need quintuple the trees to even give a shadow of the battlefield, very little open space as I understand it.

Well, at least you used the 'right' scale of figures. : )
