Staines Wargamers will be taking their new participation game 'Schweinfurt 1943' to Cavalier in a couple of weeks time.

It's a join when you want game and takes about 20 minutes to play.

Look forward to seeing some TMPer's

Taking it anywhere else?

Guthroth08 Feb 2014 2:34 p.m. PST

The usual schedule has been -

Cavalier
Campaign – but not this year apparently
Valhalla
Colours – also not this year it appears
Selwg
Warfare

If two shows are scrubbed, we might try to find another one.

Not SALUTE then.

No. We did salute for 3 years, but a combination of apalling acoustics, stuffy atmosphere, unremittingly hard floor and expensive parking sapped all our enthusiasm for the venue – not so much the event.

As someone running a participation game, the experience is much different from that experienced by a punter, a 'demo' game or someone on a trade stand.

We'd rather go to the smaller events.

Here's hoping Tonbridge isn't flooded like it was before Christmas!
