All

As part of my ever increasing contribution to my groups Waterloo project in 28mm for 2015, I am now also painting the following

72 Nassau Line Infantry

180 figures to represent the British 27th Regiment of Foot.

For my other units I'm using plastics, but I want to use metal for these.

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with certain manufacturers that may be willing to offer a discount for a bulk purchase of figures?

Thanks

F

If you are in the UK, and go to Salute, you could ask Dave Thomas. He sells, among others, Perry Mins.

He's a great guy, and if you buy in bulk, you can get a discount.

If you use 180 figures per regiment and you order the battle of waterloo, EVERY dealer will give you a discount!

Waas

I was thinking about going to Salute so it is an option. Where does he work?

Ferg – he is a dealer who, I think, started out selling the good figures from the Foundry pack miscasts (all eight figures were on one mould so if one figure was rubbish it was either toss everything back in the molten metal or sell the excess to Dave).

He's generally got some interesting buckets of old tat (interesting figures) that lots of wargamers enjoy delving though.

These days he sells the Perry blisters at shows: his email address is dave dot thomas at ntlworld dot com

He's usually set up (for obvious reasons) next to the Perries themselves.
