That's a good looking force. Great color scheme on those big-eyed monsters. How'd you manage that cross hatch effect on the big bot? |

Thanks guys, For the cross hatch effect. 1)White undercoat, I use Plasticote undercoat white. 2)Sand airbrushed base coat – I use Vallejo airbrush colours,I love the way they cover with just one pass. 3)Take a piece of cotton bandage gauze, stretch it on the mini & then spray with a thicker paint – I used Brown Plasticote sandable primer.The gauze + paint leaves an effect which you can feel under your fingertips. If I remember correctly the Lego bits came from a series called " Bionicle ". Just did a search on ebay & there are tons of the things. You should be able to find something you like,my favourite are their weapons. Z |
