I just wrote up a review of six mechs from Reaper Miniatures' CAV line. I bought them with some Pacific Rim gaming in mind and figured it would be fun to do a review. link Here's a comparison shot with Pacific Rim Heroclix kaiju:
C&C welcome! |

Those match up with clix figures surprisingly well. |

wow those are CAVs back when I was sculpting them we could not make them look like humans or give them hands. |

They should have stayed that way. These, while very nice, scream Battletech to me. There is none of the CAV vibe in them. |

The stylistic differences are due to them being originally from a different company and a different game (Talon Games' Cry Havoc, if memory serves). |

I don't remember any of those CAV models. |

Dang, need to find those Pacific Rim clix, very nice |

Gokiburi is correct. Talon Games miniatures. They do have a very BT feel to them. Got folded into the CAV line when Jon went back to Reaper to do CAV:SO. |

If I hadn't have seen the name of this post and just saw the pictures of the miniatures I would have said that they were battletech Miniatures to me these don't look like Cavs at all I hope all the new ones they release aren't like these. |

Thanks for the comments! As I mentioned in the review, I'm not at all familiar with CAV as a game, so unfortunately can't really comment on that. These new ones do stick out from the rest of the CAV line though! Redroom, those clix are nice indeed. Troll & Toad (trollandtoad.com) has a pretty good selection. |
