I will be painting the Trumpeter and Trooper in Hunting Shirt next, after that, all 8 figures will have painted samples pictured on line.

After that, I will start on the 1st Continental Dragoons.

I plan to start shipping rewards to Kickstarter backers next week.

They look great Jim!

Newbie question… Was there a standard saddle blanket color used by each of the regiments? I assume the continental units were not as uniform.

That's a good question.I would have assuemd that the "dress" saddle cloth would be in the facings color.
I have seen a few plates showingthe 17th with a white saddle cloth. Of course, they all could have copied from the first one, which is often the case. grin
If that is a true "rule", then shouldn't the 16th have a blue one?

Maybe it was due to the fact that the 16th was the Queen's Regiment rather than the King's Regiment, I don't really know for certain. Their trumpeters did wear Royal livery and troopers had the blue facings of a Royal regiment.

I think all regiments had white shabraques; see this portrait of Cornet Thomas Boothby Parkin of the 15th LD -
