Hello All,

As part of our continuing series of articles about the South American Wars of Independence, I have put up information about the Battle of La Puerta, which has its 200th anniversary today, and also some information about the build up to the famous battle of la Victoria in Venezuela. This is another excellent article contributed by Carlos Godoy, who is writing a whole series on the battles and campaigns of the Liberations Wars in Venezuela.
