What would the recoil be like on a thing like that? |

On the bright side, it has an axe. So, not completely useless. -Kle. |

It looks like it might be based on one of the early Lowe studies? IIRC some of them had the turret at the rear of the vehicle. -Will |

Try to go hull down with that setup. There's no way to depress the gun. Plus, I assume it's got the transmission problems that caused so many German Heavies to catch fire just driving to the battle. |

Try to go hull down with that setup. There's no way to depress the gun. Hull down with a reversed turret for ultimate shoot and scoot? You'd want to be pretty confident of your rear armour (or however much earth/how many sandbags you'd piled around your position). I suppose if it worked for the Archer (Brit tank destroyer) it could work for this. Mind you, having said that, it didn't work very well for the Archer (or they'd have made loads of them!) John T EDIT: mind you, having just wiki'd them, link I didn't realise they'd made (or had an order for) 800 of the Archer so they can't have been a total failure
