Meeki utilizes a portable handheld tractor beam pole to transport/tow the empty ships to their designated docking platform…

Haha… nice! Who needs a towtruck when you have a tractor pole!

Love the portable tractor beam!

So imaginative with your interpretation on a wide variety of miniatures.

Thanks. The PTBP is an exceptionally reliable item…unless it rains, and you don't have the XXX rated grounded unit!

Redroom29 Jan 2014 7:08 p.m. PST

Seriously, you do have a great imagination (jealous). Really like the vehicle on the left, neat design.

Re Redroom: Thanks, sir. And both hovercrafts and figure are from 15mm.co.uk.

Excellent!

Do any of his robotic attendants look like this?

I guess either that Ood is really strong, or that pole of his also reduces the inertial mass of the vehicles ;)

deflatermouse: Sorry, but this CEB (Credit Exchange Bot) is the old KRPT Model-5 which has been relegated to junk piles through out the galaxy. Shortly after its introduction to the world of the parking lot attendant, a major defect in its rotating motion sensor, optical, and communication unit became its downfall to infamy.

More times than not, the CEB, when rotating its engagement-unit in a 360 degree scan for the closest vehicle to serve, it would jam-up and stick focusing 180 degrees to the rear. You can imagine the problems this engendered with Mo's customers. Especially those who had already paid for parking.

Also, while stuck in this backwards position (as the tech-mechs referred to this malady), since the CEB's credit change box was attached to the front of the bot, any thing with a simple modified Zeerbi Power Key could quickly unlock the container and empty the canister of the owner's credits.

Plus, the complications associated with its unreliable parking platform type designations and credit charge metering systems helped propel the CEB to an early metal graveyard.

No Such Agency: Meeki is an old semi-retired Octo, who is not known for his strength. But he is renowned for his grasp of the card game Eight Card Speeder. If YOU want to retire, then don't sit down at a holo gambling table, belly-up, and toss a handful of credits onto the grid.

The tractor beam technology in the Zamo star systems is light years ahead of the primitive inertial mass mechanics of Terra Firma. The PTBP was developed to work in a crowded vehicle environment; and thus far, is able to tow effectively any vehicle up to and including a Zuumer.SR.2X (Zoomer Speed Racer 2-Drive).
