I have some Armies in Plastic 1/32 Seven Years War infantry figures for skirmish gaming, circa 1763 -- Russian expansion into Chechnya and Ossetia. They're dark green plastic, but the same poses as the AiP French & Indian War French and British figures. AiP also makes American War for Independence cavalry and artillery figures, but I've not been able to examine them "in the flesh" -- only from photos on the net. Could they serve convincingly as Russian dragoons and artillerymen, given the proper Russian SYW uniform-color paint job? I plan on using AiP Afghan warriors as Chechens, and Technolog Caucus Mountaineers as Ossetians. |

I'm familiar with the AIP figs but not with what you're trying to do with them. If you have a specific question about them let me know. |

I'm not that picky, but I think the AIP Rev War figs are definitely generic enough to pass as Russians with the right paint job. I say go for it. |

ArmymenRGreat -- Thank you for the feedback. Looks like it'll be AiP AWI figures as Russian dragoons in light blue with red facings, and Russian artillerymen in red with black facings. |
