Our third attempt with these rules and we are becoming quite proficient with them, we actually finished a game! We had 3 brigades per side plus a cavalry brigade each and the game was finished in just over 2 hours. Not bad going really.

The latest dispatches of another great victory by the disciplined British redcoats over the rag tag French rabble can be found on Carls Blog here-

And yes i was one of the British players. As they say , the victors get to write the History!

Nice – and a nice mix of figures too.

Looks like a great game. Not much terrain or scenery though.

We had no terrain for this one as we are still learning the rules and the first 2 games were complicated by it. Did look a bit bare mind.

Looks excellent. I may see about getting these rules at York this weekend.

Thanks for sharing

Craig, i doubt you will get these at York as they are sold as PDF downloads by the author via his website. Here's the link-

Scroll down to the bottom where there is a summary of the system. If you want them you need to email the author. They work out at about £6.00 GBP Well worth it in my opinion.

I can confirm mickthemagpie's comments. Jeff Knudsen replies very promptly, and has also been most helpful in answering a few queries.

A bargain when compared to many wargame rules published these days!

Nice looking game, glad you're enjoying the rules.

Good idea going with a literally level playing field while learning the rules.

Keeps things simple.

We had our third 28mm game at the club last week and i have just finished the report on Carls Blog here-

We have now done enough to try a more demanding historical early Peninsular War game using 15mm so much more space on the table for maneuver. Neal is preparing the scenario so we will be doing it next week while this weeks club game will be 15mm WW2.
