I'm going to be breezing by the Muskets and Tomahawks table on Saturday night; I might be inspired to participate. With a good tail-wind I might buy the rules!

Cap'n,

Glad you will be checking out the M&T action on Saturday night. Should be a grand time. The draft rules are on my blog.

I will have some loaner armies available if you want to join in the action. The terrain should be worthy of a look as well. Be sure to register for the event if you want to make sure you get in. We have 7 signed up now and I can take 10.

Either way, Please be sure to introduce yourself to me. I will be running the event.

I might do my usual pick up game of 15mm AWI using British Grenadiers, probably Saturday evening.

So where is your related post?

HG,

Please take a look at "Pulp and Inter-War Games at Cold Wars 2014."

I was trying to highlight some of the out of the way games and periods that often get overlooked at conventions but can be fun, especially for younger gamers. For example, I know that the Chinese Warlord game will be a good time for players who like an Indiana Jones type adventure with good looking terrain and figures.

Since I had the time (it was a snowy Saturday afternoon), I went on to post additional lists of the WWI and Carnage and Glory games scheduled for Cold Wars. I think we will see more WWI games as the anniversary calendar rolls on through 2014-2018.

FYI to all, Cold Wars pre-registration is now open.

Enjoy the games.

Just a reminder that today is the last day to pre-register for Cold Wars.

Most of the FIW and AWI games still have room for more players.

Hope to see you there.

I'll be running our usual BG games both weekend nights.
