Anyone know if there is a manufacturer that sells the plastic joiners from the x-wing maneuver dial (or something similar)?
I'd like to find some for a personal project. |

Have you tried FFG to see if they can sell them to you as a spare part? Otherwise, the only thing I can thing of would be in metal – a Chicago screw, or perhaps a cap rivet. Doug |

I can get them. I have some that work with our dials but those are a bit too thick. I think I can get then one size smaller. Similar but not the same thing. |

There has to be some piece of packaging off a household product which would do the same sort of job. |

Aren't they just plastic rivets? Try a craft store, scrap bookers use them for some reason. |

Old school would be those old brass button head fasteners (the things with the prongs you fold flat on the underside), but you could also probably use 2-part metal snap buttons (like you find on coats & jackets. Craft or fabric stores should carry a variety of sizes & styles.) I'm assuming you haven't made the holes in your project yet, or that the parts to be joined aren't too thick

I'm also trying to put together some custom maneuver dials. I found these: link If anyone tries them out, let me know how it works out. |
