There are several easy find and good images of Pz IIIs and Pz IVs knocked out at Stonne in 1940. Those tanks have a unique marking (for 8th panzer regiment?) with one, two or three horizontal lines on the back of the turret for first, second or third company within the battalion. I have been unable to find images of the rear sides of Pz Is, Pz IIs and Panzerbefehlswagen Is from 10th Panzer Division. Neither in the books I have access to, nor via google. So I have no idea how the company markings are placed those tanks. Can anyone help? |
