I added some pictures of the various Light infantry units in my Assyrian Army to my blog:
These last are Elamite archers. All figures are 25mm Minifigs from one of their best ranges ever (IMHO), the Ancient Egypt and Assyria range. There are more pictures and some information about the Kingdom of Elam on my blog at: link Peter |

Why do people paint bent spears/pikes /gun barrels? Why not straighten them? |

Kevin. These were painted, oh, at least 25 years ago. the Javelins were straight at that time. They are slender and bend easily; the figures have been transported many times mover the years. Straightening them repetitively would break them. Peter |

Peter speaks the truth – as many of my old broken spear minifigs attest. Those Elamites would be a great start to an end of empire opponent. |
