I need five or six Austrian generals to add to my forces. What manufacturers do I have as choices? Prefer US distributor/mfg, but will consider overseas. Old Glory is one option, but I don't need the big $30 USD pack. Where else can I look?
thanks

Give Eureka USA a look. They have a general and officers pack with about half dozen figures.

I need them too! Maybe we should go halves on OG :)

I was thinking Fantassin/Warmodeling?

with ABs from Eureka you can buy them one by one no packs to buy and Rob gives exceptional service

One caveat: Eureka horses are way taller than others.

AB are lovely, my choice for staff.

You need simply the best sculpts you can find for Officers because they are usually mounted individually or in a small group in most rules and so they tend to stand out more. For this reason I use AB's for my Austrian, and others, Officers. And yes, a nice advantage is you can buy AB's individually so you get exactly what you want. The horses are wonderful and I have used them to improve the appearance of Old Glory Confed of the Rhine cavalry back before the AB range offered them and more recently for Old Glory Seven Years War cavalry.

I picked up a few Old Glory generals from eBay. Be warned though: these are BIG. Compared to the foot miniatures in that range they seem very oversized. In fact in a mix of the figures from Old Glory, AB, Warmodelling and Battle Honours I found the Old Glory was the only set that didn't match well together being larger than the rest. Battle Honours horses on the other hand were smaller than the others.

There are pictures of some OG generals through my blog… link

I have the BG (Black Jack) Crauford and ADC figures from Warmodeling and the horses seemed more like Clydesdales next to others, so I replaced them with either AB or OG. Minifigs used to have them but the general sets seemed to be limited to the Brits and French now.
