Hi,

I am starting to heavily plan a Fallout themed game using the THW game mechanics.

I am still struggling to find appealing Tribal minis and paper building (living in HK, space is a luxury, all terrain must be able to be folded).

I saw on the forum a lot of content for BoS, Enclave or Dwellers (not even mentioning Raiders)

Any suggestions?

I'd start by having a look here…. link …on the the Lead Adventure forum.

Lots of ideas for Fallout figures.

I did look at the file and the details, but I did not find links to good 28mm tribals (beside one mentioning Wild West tribes).

Seems the best tribals are Hobbit orques (oh my…) :)

I'd look at the copplestone scavengers line. Typical southwestern Fallout tribals tend to look like bikers or poorly equipped mercenaries only with bones, teeth, fur, feathers and such added. Most are not stone age or anything like that. Think of Lord Humongous's bunch in the Road Warrior. A bit of body-paint or tattoos is common. If you want totally debased mutant savages living off the land entirely, then yeah orcs are a good way to go.

EM4. Savages are really good at 28 mm .I have a few for fallout and stalker games using combat zone rules.
We are slowly replacing GW plastic necromunda goliaths with them.

link Link for them pasted using ipad hope it works.
If combat zone chronicles site is still up and running I am sure there are good terrain tips there .

Wood elf Blood bowl players make good conversion fodder if you want the mohawks and shoulderpads look.

I made some nice-looking tribal types by converting Wargames-Factory Numidians and adding GW weapons. With their modern survivors sets, you might get a lot of mileage out of combining those with some WF's ancients sets, particular the Zulu for that "naked savage" look.

The added bonus, of course, is that they are dirty cheap!

If you don't mind using paper minis there are some at:

that might work.

I've had no problem finding loads of paper terrain online. Just try all different search strings. Shantys can be built from texture sites. If you can find an archive Tommygun did some great stuff.
I don't have a storage problem but my wife would disagree.

Having just played Fallout: Tactics again, I think I'd recommend these.

Those could double for Beast Masters too perhaps…just find appropriate nasty creatures to add to the ranks.

Paper friend is going to be a good option. I have already the Tommygun and working with them. But as we say as gamer, the more the merrier. :)

For the EM4 and Wargame Factory, I saw good things. I'll need to stash some money now.

I have already the following stuff:

Some great work there. Check out my Savage Fallout posts if you like. I'm not the best painter but I'm having lots of fun.
