"Remember, just less than a year ago, when Hasbro announced the details of the Star Trek Kre-o range, they mentioned plans for individual kreon figurines as well? There was to be a series of six nuTrek characters, released alongside the main wave of Into Darkness sets, and then later in the year, twelve more prime-timeline characters.

A little while later a German online retailer released the images to the right, of six of those prime figures. But then nothing seemed to happen, I assumed the line had been cancelled – Until one of my readers mentioned they had in fact all been released last year, in the Philippines at least. A couple of Filipino bloggers have reported on wave 2, thanks to TrekToy poster 1701 I came across The Geeky Guide to Nearly Everything's report, and Youtuber chefatron also posted a review. Between the two we can get a fairly good look at these figures, even if the rest of the world might be doomed to never actually see them in the flesh…"
