These are 2 of the Humber scout cars we will be releasing soon.

Its a sneak glimpse into things coming out in the near future.

Small number of parts, 3 actually – see below. Offering for the first time a 2 minute build time!!!!

These will come with different crews and 1 with a twin vickers K on a pintal mount plus the other model a Bren on a swinging mount.

Looking at selling as a pair of models, total of 6 parts for both models for around £12.00 GBP – to be decided?

Thoughts?

Thoughts? I'm thinking i now need to wait on ordering my Dingos until these are available!

Paul/Ian, are these metal or resin/metal combo ?

They look really sweet by the way. The armoured cars and the MG mountings!

ridgeback12318 Jan 2014 8:16 a.m. PST

These like the Dingo's are all metal. I/We were talking about producing in rein & even did some test castings but the response suggested the demand for this product was going to be so high that that the time element in casting them in resin although costing less in material was far out weighed by the time/labour element in casting in metal. With this in mind several of the "Small "Skytrex stuff we be re-moulded & Re-released in metal

Thanks for the reply Ian. While I appreciate the commercial reasons for the choice of metal in these cases, I would have been happy to wait for the resin versions. Can I take it from your reply that the resin tests showed no drop in quality ?

ridgeback12320 Jan 2014 12:28 a.m. PST

No drop at all. its just in resin I could make 2 sets a day with limited mould life & in metal I can do 20 sets with double the mould life.
