Just curious, how are dice made?

I am interested mainly in custom logos imprints?

1) A metal stamp?
2) Laser Engraving?
3) Machining? With a CNC router?

Any experts who can help?

Injection moulding for the most part.
There are companies that offer laser engraving though, such as:

war-bases.co.uk/DICE

Not sure who in the states though?
Corsec maybe?

Yes I am aware of Injection molding to make them.

I am wondering if anyone is some how an expert on how they are carved.

You mean how the numbers get on them?

Here's a champion dice huckster doing a propaganda on dice making! grin (Not that there's anything wrong with that…)

Custom dice can be engraved with either a mechanical engraver or sometimes a laser. The high end machines go really fast.

We don't do it. I looked into it a bit but it's not economical for us to cut them. The pro machines are massive and can crank out dice. Usually the multi-side custom stuff is injection molded with custom molds.

If I remember the paint is applied to them and then tumbled off. Well unless your Louis Zocchi.

Thanks to all.. got it. Probably laser is my best choice.
