My first AAR for 2014 are a sequal to one of the last battles I and Jonas fought during 2013 using our Blatic Crusas minis and the Hail caesar rules. You can find it at my blog.

Best regards Michael

Ice Fishing with HC! Whodathiunkit? Neat game!

Were I to replicate it, I might give the units on the ice a little warning before dunking them. Perhaps the first turn, the ice starts cracking, and they lose fighting ability or morale because of it, and if they're not off that spot by the next move, in they go. Also, the spot could be marked somehow to show that it's about to collapse and the next unit on it goes in the drink. You could even, perhaps, have only the side that caused the potential failure know precisely where the danger spot lies. It would be fairly apparent, when they retreat off the ice, that SOMETHING was up … but was it a feint, or is that patch of ice REALLY about to go? Only one way to find out!
