Howdy,

Big battles are at hand. The campaign may well be decided (or maybe not…)

(1) Russians attack Konigsberg, and (2) Germans attack the Russian flank.

Ponder on,

This looks interesting. Any link to your blog/previous game turns, etc. ?

Thanks.

Oh yes. Thanks.

I may have arrived late to this party but it is certainly one not to miss!

I like this very much and I would like to try it myself. Great. Look forward to reading more.

Good afternoon,

I was somewhat surprised by the actual battle results; the alternative resolution system was used in lieu of a miniatures battle. In both battles, losses were even, so both continue into Turn 8.

Konigsberg: Both sides lose 5 stands – the fortress troops and fortifications saved the day for the Germans.

Gerdauen: Both sides lose 8 stands – prior losses by the Germans and the presence of the Russian Heavy Artillery saved the day for the Russians.

In terms of the number of casualties, the results favored the Russians. Orders for Turn 8 are about two weeks out.

More to come …

Ponder on,

JAS
