Jim Chaffee offers a review of 'Chainmail Bikini', as played yesterday by a group of cheery gents in New Jersey. The rules are really at Beta test point right now – more to add and refine;

Thanks. Is it a dungeoncrawl, or was that just the playtest scenario?

I think it is supposed to be able to handle any Conan-esque sort of game, not just dungeon crawls. Sounds like a great game. I'm really looking forward to this and Robin Hood!!

Thanks for the review. I also really like Howard's dungeon.

It's very free-form, so fits into a wide variety of locations. You know, seedy taverns, icy mountains, harems, those sorts of places.

I love the dugeon boxes. Were they foam core with stuff on the walls for texture? How was the brick texture done on the walls?

'Chainmail Bikini' … that's gonn'a chafe and rub somebody the wrong way ! huh?

The dungeon pieces are a mix of foamcore pieces and gift boxes, with paper mache pressed onto the walls and 'embossed' with the reverse side of a piece of brick pattern plastic card.
