I am now building forces for 15mm WW1 games.
At the moment painting infantry for both sides and just starting to collect transport and Amroured cars.
What colour scheme did the British and German forces use?

From what I have read (in Battle for the Bundu so that's not the latest in scholarship), the German East Africa forces did not have any armored cars. The British did but that book doesn't state from where the came nor what color they were painted. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

Not sure about East Africa, but it seems to me that I've read that the well-known Rolls Royce armored car, even in Syria, was used by the RN, and was painted a dark blue or greym which then faded and got covered with blown sand. I could be totally off-base as it was a while ago, but that's what my faulty memory is remembering.

I did my British aarmoured cars mid blue grey, heavily weathered. The Germans didn't have any.
