I have built this Prussian cavalry regiment, whose more striking uniform feature was a hussar-braided litewka. I have used the Italeri 6008 French Hussars (figures wearing the pelisse), modeling the litewka coats with plasticine. You can see the history and the results at link link link |

They look pretty good. Another way might have been to paint the braiding onto a litewka? I have been finding games workshops liquidf greenstuff useful for such things (and epasulets, plumes and pom poms) if you can get it? |

You did a pretty good job on those. Sadly I have 15mm's and haven't seen anything yet to do this so it's maybe the only Prussian unit I need. I have substituted a East Prussian Landwehr Regiment in my OOB. |

Very nice job. Well researched and executed. I love the "odd ball" units like this. Without them, the Prussians would be pretty boring. Tom |

I suppose then green stuff will suffice for the job but with no wargaming shop nearby, and plasticine from my kids around, I find more easy to use the last! |
