My Google fu and YouTube skills are not very good. I've been trying to find a YouTube clip of the US Marines attacking the Sultan's Palace in Tangier, but to no avail. The only thing that I can find are a few short seconds from the film trailer.

Surely somebody must have posted this scene on YouTube Can anyone provide an active link?

The very best totally unhistorical historical movie!

I always say that I would much rather see sparks of sexual tension between Sean Connery and Candice Bergen, than between Sean and … Ed Asner. Since the "real" Ion Perdicaris was a portly middle aged dude… But who would want to see a movie about rescuing Ed Asner?

Excellent :) unbelievable but excellent, thanks for the link. I have never seen this film!

The French TV has shown thousands of westerns with US troops killing them Injuns, and we loved John Wayne etc, but I'm not sure it often broadcasted this one: people would not have believed it :-) But it's glorious.
