On December 30 I ran my annual naval game. This year's game was a hypothetical attack by the Japanese during Operation Landcrab, the invasion of Attu.

We had two battles during the game, a smaller cruiser action and a larger battle with Japanese and American battleships. In the end the Japanese failed a morale check, allowing the Americans to remain in control of the islands. You can read more about the game at the link below.

Excellent. I wish we regularly had time enough for more of these mini-campaigns rather than the one-off "there's no tomorrow" games. Well done.
