How do they reach the middle of the board?

What rules system and per Streitax "How do you reach the middle?"

I can reach to the middle of my 6 foot 6 inch wide table, but would trade it for that table.

According to the link, it sounds like multiple tables on wheels, so edge tables can be moved to reach the center.

I always wondered how tables are moved if troops are positioned on the joining edges. My table is 12x6, but I'd like to make it 14x7 or so. Just don't know how to reach the middle without moving a table aside. Still, very, very nice.

I use croupier sticks that won't crap out the figures. This game and game venue makes my little gaming HOUSE look like a poor relation. It stirs me up however to play some 25/28/whatever Napoleonics asap. Our table will probably be 12-16x6 so it won't be as cool. My hat's off to the Avon krew! This is a wargame truly "In the Grand Manner"! A big TEJAS WELL DONE to y'all!

Yes, my poor stomach would prevent me from reaching the centre of the table!

ancientsgamer04 Jan 2014 7:47 p.m. PST

Very stunning. Oh to have the room to leave a table like that up permanently… or to have room for more than one of those! Sure beats the 8X5 tables pushed together at conventions. Actual depth and flanks on a large battlefield with 25mm figures; wow!

I understand the stick use and it makes sense. I guess I am a more tactile person and like to move them with my hands directly though :-) Would love to see a YouTube with the tables and players moving around. Must be quite a dance!
