I have a blog post here on the problem I am having with finding sources dealing with how the Germans handled their fire control systems.

Any help on sources is greatly appreciated.

I just finished reading Dreadnought by Robert Massie and am reading his Castles of Steel. One or the other, and I think it is the latter, has some additional descriptions of German fire control. IIRC they were the first to use a central fire direction center and electrical firing of the weapons by the ship's gunnery officer.

But unless you are going for each player only controlling a single ship, then you are getting too granular with trying to distinguish between the turret and casemate guns.

Thank you Jim

I was thinking I was going to far down the rabbit hole with distinguish between the turret and casemate guns.
