I've unpacked the boxes and posted a quick synopsis of the contents and my initial impressions on my blog. link |

Thanks for the review. Feel free to tell me go jump, but the British infantry in the comparison shot are Foundry, not OG. I have a truckload of unpainted Foundry stuff, so I found these shots very worthwhile. john |

LOL! Given that a.) I have a fair number of Foundry figures as well as OG and b.) I no longer have the original packaging, I'd be hard pressed to refute your claim. I'll update the blog with that correction. Thanks! |

Foundry/OG has this period sewn up as with FPW and Indian Mutiny so no amount of huge new figures is going to help anyone. |

Of course I should add that they are very nice figures! It's just that yet again I am gutted that they won't fit in with my current forces. |

Thanks for the review. I was also a backer of the Kickstarter and am pleased with the end result. My main interest is in the Indian Mutiny so I was looking anyway for figures I could use for both Sikh Wars and Indian Mutiny. There is some size difference between the old Foundry and current OG ranges. The Studio figures are more compatible with the Mutineer miniatures ranges. I find that once you base the figures up the size differences become minimal. Sculpting is very good although the hands are a little bit small for my liking. |

I'll stick with Foundry/OG – really varied, much more dynamically posed, full cavalry AND full artillery options. What more could a man want? |
