It is the future gentlemen and if you are not minded to accept it then it shall pass you by.
Since the calculating artillery engines of the Prussians put the French to flight in the Franco-Prussian war more and more engineers have been seeking ways to harness all these marvellous steam-powered and electrical inventions for the purposes of war. A war, I fear, that might be the war to end all wars, for none of us would survive it.
This is why the various agents of the Empire are daily risking their lives to limit any advantage an enemy might achieve in this sphere. |
