Interesting. I hadn't seen that map, so thanks for sharing. Rumor has it one mad Russian captain planned to nuke Honolulu, but his sub sunk when he opened the missile tube(s), or was sunk. Apparently, both the USA and Soviet Union were looking for him. Appears the Soviets prefer to keep Miami as a nice vacation spot, away from the cold of Mother Russia, so decided not to nuke it. |
