Very good looking units and your comand of English is way better than my German or Polish.

Very, very nice!
Front Rank figures and great painting.
Have you seen the Murawski Poles?

Bayard29 Dec 2013 4:22 p.m. PST

Thank you, VonBlucher and GDrover :)
Yes, I saw Murawski Poles and I even have two infantry battalions- marching and firing- but still unpainted, I received them almost two weeks ago ;)

The shading on the hussars is superb. I am saving those pictures to copy your technique! The grey overalls especially on the nearest trooper, brilliant.

You must get your artillery trained though. Your CO looks horrified. This is because one idiot is about to put his portfire to the gun. If he does, there are two unfortunates in front of it. One is holding a cannon ball, but I presume the propellant cartridge is already rammed home. The sponge man is about to ram home the ball with the wrong end of his tool. None of this matters if the gun is fired though, half the crew die instantly.

Seriously though, great work…….

Really outstanding work. The 13th Polish Hussars with their light blue shakos are an especially fun unit to paint – I did them for our Borodino project 2 years ago.

Very nice.

nice work but try painting the eyes with black underneath and two white dots on the corners.

Excellent work

I love these and I'd like some Poles. However I have a lot of unpainted figures which I need to get through first!

@Hubbynz
I'm still training with the eyes- it's the most difficult part of the miniature ;)
