Very Nice ! I've flown in both the C-141(and jumped a few times) and C5 way back in the day … old fart

Holy sh#@. I was impressed with the photos until I got to the last one and was blown away with how small the diarama really is. I thought it was like HO scale (1/87th) or 1/100th? But now I see it's much smaller. Kudos on the small detail…look at those painted figures on the tarmac.

"Just a quick dio i finished the other day of some C5 loading from a base ."
He says! I'd hate to see what he could do if he took his time!

cavalry4729 Dec 2013 2:05 p.m. PST

I did not realise until looking at the blog that the orange tower in the picture was a Bic lighter very impressive and so small

Tango0129 Dec 2013 7:59 p.m. PST

Happy you like the dio boys.
A very tiny scale!.

At a guess they are Pitroad 1:700th.
The Starlifter is in the West Wings 1 set and the C 5 is in its own set. Both contain lots of tanks, APCs, Hummers and MRLSs.
Cheers,
Bertie
